Heel & Hound's Two Week Training Academy is a "Bootcamp" or "Board & Train" style training program where your dog will live in the trainer's home for 18 days for customized training. The training curriculum is customized for your specific goals, but can include skills such as loose leash walking, basic obedience commands, potty training, greeting people nicely, socialization with other dogs and people, recall, long distance stay and more. 

Your dog will be the only dog at the trainer's house who is attending the two week academy, ensuring that they got the trainer's full devoted attention during the two weeks. There may be other dogs present for playtime and to reinforce self control exercises, but your dog will be the only TWTA student. Your dog will receive a minimum of 4 hours of private 1 on 1 training with the trainer each day, in addition to group training, playtime, and family time.

Your dog will live comfortably in the trainer's home as a part of the trainer's family. This is a much less stressful experience for your dog than a typical Board & Train program where the dog would be housed in a large kennel area with several other kenneled dogs. This also allows your dog to experience real world situations such as the doorbell ringing, family dinners, having guests over, and children running through the house.

The two week training program includes up to three follow up 1 hour private training sessions to ensure a smooth transition back into your home.

The cost for the two week program is $3000. A 50% deposit is required up front to book the TWTA. The remaining balance is due on the first day of the two week program.
